The Home Performance Guild of Oregon’s (HPG’s) mission is to help home performance professionals build a more climate resilient and economically equitable Oregon. Our vision is an Oregon where home energy efficiency provides living-wage careers for people of color and low-income Oregonians, and where all residents have healthy, efficient homes.
HPG began as a small network of local contractors and has grown into a statewide nonprofit dedicated to advancing healthy, energy-efficient homes. As an Oregon 501(c)(3) organization, HPG connects contractors, partners, and emerging professionals through education, collaboration, and shared values. Together, we’re working to lower energy costs, improve comfort, and build a more sustainable future-one home and one contractor at a time.
We work to strengthen Oregon’s home performance community by growing our members’ skills and businesses, reducing energy burdens, and supporting healthier, more efficient homes for all Oregonians.

We are committed to building an inclusive home performance industry that expands access to healthy, energy-efficient housing and workforce opportunities-particularly for communities that have been systematically disenfranchised and historically excluded. By supporting these communities to launch sustainable businesses and upskill to meet efficiency demands, we help them build a healthier, more sustainable future for all. We support and prioritize leadership, business ownership, and workforce development to ensure a more equitable and representative industry for all.
We aim to create a gathering space where all feel represented, respected, and heard. Our monthly networking meetings provide the opportunity for any emerging and established home performance contractors to make connections, learn about job and training opportunities, and be in the same room as community leaders who influence the flow of green energy dollars and program design. We offer stipends for community focus group participation and mentorship, supporting workforce and leadership development. We work with Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to extend their reach, amplify impact, and connect more Oregonians to services for healthier, sustainable lives.
