Northwest Energy Collaborative (NWECB) is a local Portland minority-owned firm specializing in green building certifications and energy consulting. As independent third-party verifiers, we ensure buildings meet energy efficiency and sustainability goals. We support developers by combining expert verification with strategic funding and innovative energy efficiency solutions. We aim to improve construction quality, enhance energy performance, reduce carbon emissions, and maximize the financial benefits of green building certifications.

Our Services:
• Green Building Certification: We provide third-party verification for programs such as ENERGY STAR, National Green Building Standard (NGBS), and EPS.
• Building Design Consulting & Code Compliance: We assess and verify construction practices to ensure they meet green building standards and energy performance benchmarks.
• Building Performance Testing: We perform various building testing services, including envelope, ventilation, and duct testing, to optimize building energy performance.
• Green Building Construction Training: We work with LatinoBuilt to facilitate bilingual Spanish/English training that equips construction crews and trade professionals with best practices for high-performance, energy-efficient buildings.
