The Home Performance Guild of Oregon (Guild) is a successful 8 year-old trade association supporting the established home performance industry in the state. The industry focuses on a systems based approach for the retrofit of existing homes for efficiency, health and resilience. The Guild has been instrumental in the development of regional policy, industry recognition, education, and opportunity for its members.
The Executive Director (ED), reporting to a stable, diverse and engaged Board, holds broad responsibility for advocacy, engagement, business management and delivery of value to members.
As the sole employee of the Guild the ED must be broadly skilled, agile and entrepreneurial. Key skills required include:

This position provides a unique opportunity for an individual to lead a well-recognized organization to the next step of its development. The Guild has built strong relationships with the Energy Trust of Oregon, Oregon legislators, regional environmental groups, and many other important area stakeholders.
Oregon has long been a national leader in energy efficiency. The Guild helped to advance a landmark new policy in Portland requiring Home Energy Scores for all homes listed for sale. The incoming Director will have the opportunity to help guide the industry and community to gain the full benefit of this development.
The Guild is also recognized for its annual Conference, a one-day cross-industry event highlighting key issues for the trade.
Compensation includes a base of $60k with $70k earning potential from performance incentives. Package includes health insurance, vacation and expenses.
