The Home Performance Guild is a great resource for anyone operating a business in Oregon’s Home Performance and residential efficiency retrofit sector. Our members represent a wealth of knowledge for the industry and most are more than willing to share their experiences, successes, and challenges. The atmosphere of competitive collaboration to further the industry is a key part of the culture of the Guild.
We are a values driven organization that seeks to foster open dialogue amongst a diversity of stakeholders in the pursuit of thoughtful, equitable and sustainably minded policy.
Bi-monthly newsletters and monthly meetings keep members informed through important updates about policy, incentives, programs, research, events, trainings, and more. At each month’s meetings we have speakers, including elected officials, program managers, and industry experts. The Guild represents a wide range of valuable voices, including contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, educational institutions, banks, local governments, and energy program managers. Networking at each month’s meeting provides unprecedented access to all of these folks, as well as job-seekers.
Joining also allows access to a discounted membership to Efficiency First (EF), the national Home Performance industry association. EF provides huge value through industry leading webinars on key building science and business topics, discounts on conferences and products, and national legislative leadership.
We meet most months on the 2nd Thursday of the month, either from 4:30- 6pm at the Lucky Lab Brew Pub, or during lunch from 11:30am-1pm. Refer to our calendar for up-to-date meeting info. Also, member meetings qualify attendees for up to 1.5 BPI CEU’s. And prospective members can come to their first two meetings for free. Check us out!
